J Alert is operated by Andy j weather man ("we", "us", "J Alert"). By using the J Alert website, installable app, notifications, emails or the J Alert Pro subscription, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

J Alert displays live radar imagery, National Weather Service (NWS) alerts and Storm Prediction Center outlooks, and sends ZIP-code targeted notifications, video briefings and (for J Alert Pro members) daily voice briefings. J Alert is a supplemental information service and is not an official warning source. Always follow official NWS warnings and instructions from local emergency management.

The free radar and ZIP-code alerts do not require an account. A registered account is required for J Alert Pro. You must be of legal age (or have authority to bind the organization you represent), provide accurate information, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• use J Alert for any unlawful purpose;
• commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate us or another person;
• infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including malware, probing, scanning, scraping or circumventing technical limits;
• resell, redistribute or reverse engineer any part of the service.

We retain ownership of J Alert and all associated intellectual property, including the software, branding, video briefings and voice briefings. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan for your own personal use. Underlying weather data is sourced from NOAA / the National Weather Service and remains subject to their terms.

We work to keep J Alert running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely or error-free performance. Radar imagery, alerts and notification delivery depend on third-party data feeds, push services, mobile networks and device settings that are outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

J Alert Pro costs $0.99 per month and renews automatically every 30 days until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms together with our refund policy. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on the plans section; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

We may suspend or terminate access to J Alert for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination your right to use the service ends; we may delete stored account data after a reasonable period.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence where that exclusion is prohibited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
